Generating barcodes...
Learn more about our mission and the team behind this tool
BarcodeGen was created to provide a simple, free, and efficient solution for generating barcodes in bulk. We believe that creating professional barcodes should be accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise or budget constraints.
Our tool is designed with user experience in mind, offering an intuitive interface that makes barcode generation quick and hassle-free. Whether you need to create a few barcodes or hundreds, our tool can handle your needs.
BarcodeGen uses advanced JavaScript libraries to generate high-quality barcodes directly in your browser. This means your data never leaves your computer, ensuring complete privacy and security.
Our tool supports multiple barcode formats including CODE128, CODE39, EAN-13, EAN-8, and UPC, with more formats being added regularly based on user feedback.
BarcodeGen started as a side project in 2020 when our founder needed to generate hundreds of barcodes for inventory management but couldn't find a free tool that could handle bulk generation efficiently.
Frustrated with the existing options that were either too limited or too expensive, we decided to build our own solution. What began as a simple internal tool has now evolved into a full-featured platform serving thousands of users worldwide.
We're constantly working to improve BarcodeGen by adding new features and formats. Upcoming features include QR code generation, custom templates, and API access for developers.
We value user feedback and actively incorporate suggestions into our development roadmap. If you have ideas for improving BarcodeGen, we'd love to hear from you!

Yes, BarcodeGen is completely free to use. We believe in providing value to our users without charging for basic functionality. We may offer premium features in the future, but the core barcode generation will always remain free.
Currently, we support CODE128, CODE39, EAN-13, EAN-8, and UPC formats. We're continuously working to add more formats based on user demand. If you need a specific format that we don't currently support, please contact us and we'll consider adding it.
Absolutely. All barcode generation happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your data never leaves your computer and is not stored on our servers. This ensures complete privacy and security for your information.
Yes, you can use the barcodes generated with our tool for both personal and commercial purposes. There are no restrictions on how you use the barcodes you create with BarcodeGen.
There's no hard limit on the number of barcodes you can generate. However, generating very large quantities (thousands) may slow down your browser. For best performance, we recommend generating up to 500 barcodes at a time.
We're currently working on a developer API that will allow integration with other applications. The API is in beta testing and will be available to all users soon. Please contact us if you're interested in early access.
